It is a good idea to call during the summer, as we change some of the racing schedules as the turnout dictates.

Check out the Calendar page for race schedules.

Don't forget the place is available for your party. It can be anything you want, a birthday, corprate team building or a bunch of friends that want to race just to prove their manhood. Even if the girls usually win.

Please support the vendors that support you!

Well I have been way too long without trying to enter something on the web page.  I keep putting it off thinking I will do something to make it crash..

RACING NEWS
I am not sure what I will do for regular content here but Dan's title of Rob's Ramblings probably appropriately names my area.  The Spring series is now half way done with three races down and 3 to go.  Some bragging rights are coming due.   We have been racing on the modified Blue King we call the "Chief" for over a month now.  The Group F Falcon powered brass and piano wire wing cars are very equally matched and a lot of fun to drive.  They handle very well and are quite cheap to buy and maintain.  We also have been racing Group 12 wing cars.  These are very fast.

Lets not forget that Pacific Slot Car Raceways (PSCR) is hosting the American Flat Track Worlds this coming July.  This is a race in which several out of state racers are coming.  Also I hear tell there is a movement to have a race series on the Hillclimb track up front.  Keep watching I have some fun ideas.  As the weather gets nicer outside will start having outdoor pit space available plus BBQ facilities too.

I need to put a blip here about what I am having great fun with.  As those of you that know me know my backround was wingcar open racing of 20+ years ago.  I still yearn to do that on the Chief but I have also found that GT12 and Eurosport are two classes that give me that same rush from their speed and great handling.  PLUS they are made out of spring steel chassis which stay flat !!  Wow wouldn't it be nice if flexi chassis stayed flat...............maybe they do for good drivers but they don't for me but most of you have seen my slot car driving prowess or lack of  :)

PRODUCT NEWS
We have some rare hard to get parts at PSCR.  Come check out the imported from England chassis kits by Richard Mack and Brian Saunders.  These are state of the art in their respective classes of GT12 and Eurosport.

We also have been getting Cahoza products imported by Alpha from Czechoslovakia.  The motor parts seem to have a quality that is second to none in slot car parts.  You must check them out plus research their winning ways lately (worldwide)

PSCR is about to get in a new run of OS Bentlees (200) direct from Outasight.  So hi downforce GTP bodies should be available agian later this week.

Those of you that come to PSCR know that we have three of the best builders anywhere so check out the handbuilt cars and motors built by none other than Lee Gilbert building under the name of "Speedshop" and Koford sponsored wing car Pro Bob Everett building fast scale and wing products under the name of "Ballistic Products".   Speedshop also makes about the best scale tires made period !

Well as the title says Rob's ramblings I have probably carried on long enough more to come BEWARE.....

Life is short. Pull the trigger!
