The Twister Track lived up to its name on Friday night, delivering fast laps, tight battles, and plenty of pressure as racers pushed for consistency and control. Both the Expert and Amateur divisions saw strong performances across the board, with several drivers turning in impressive totals on the demanding layout.
🏆 Expert Division Results
Doug Yarbrough set the pace early and never looked back, taking P1 with a commanding 291.34 total laps. His smooth driving and mistake-free runs proved to be the difference on a track where precision mattered more than outright aggression.
Bill Clemens followed closely in P2 with 287.25 laps, keeping the pressure on throughout the race. Mike Wilson rounded out the podium in P3 at 285.06 laps, just a few turns shy of second place in a tightly packed top three.
Leonard Strand finished P4 with 279.45 laps, followed by Owen Yarbrough in P5 at 277.72, showing solid pace despite the challenging conditions. Shawn Sweeney claimed P6 with 274 laps, and David Bauder completed the Expert field in P7 with 265.21 laps.
