The middle of the field featured a tight battle between Leonard Strand and Shawn Sweeney. Despite Sweeney recording a quicker best lap at 4.894, Strand edged him in total laps through steadier race rhythm.

Amateur Division Highlights

  • Fastest Lap: John Kolman — 4.867
  • Closest Battle: Granchi over Bare by 0.98 laps
  • Blue lane remained the preferred fast lane
  • Bauder’s consistency secured a comfortable victory margin

Overall Event Notes

The Twister track rewarded smooth throttle control and rhythm driving, with the Blue lane clearly offering the quickest route around the circuit. Across both divisions, consistency over long runs proved critical, especially in the technical middle sections where small mistakes quickly added up.

The Expert field showed exceptional pace, with the top three drivers all turning laps in the 4.7-second range or better. Meanwhile, the Amateur class featured several competitive battles and promising performances that suggest even tighter racing ahead in future events.
