TWISTER TRACK RACE REPORT
June 5, 2026
The TWISTER track hosted another exciting night of NASCAR slot car racing on June 5, featuring both Amateur and Expert divisions. Drivers battled through fast-paced heats with several impressive lap totals and quick lap times recorded throughout the evening.
NASCAR Expert Division
Aaron Rothstein put together a dominant performance to claim the Expert Division victory, turning 301.78 laps and recording the fastest lap of the night with a blistering 4.595-second run on the Blue lane. Aaron was the only driver to break the 300-lap barrier.
Piper Clark delivered a strong effort to finish second with 295.99 laps, while Bill Clemans completed the podium in third place with 288.61 laps. Doug Yarbrough was close behind in fourth, posting one of the fastest laps of the evening at 4.611 seconds. Leonard Strand finished fifth, and Mike Wilson rounded out the field in sixth.

NASCAR Amateur Division
The Amateur Division featured a close battle for the win, with John Kolman edging David Bauder by just over two laps. Kolman finished with 271.10 laps and also set the fastest lap in the division with a 4.726-second run.
Bauder finished second with 269.02 laps, while Bryan Williamson secured third place with 260.26 laps. One of the night’s closest contests came in the battle for fourth, where Jack Granchi narrowly held off Keith Bare by only 0.21 laps. Jim Naughton and Mike Strong completed the standings.
