American Flat Track Worlds Race Recap!

Notes from the Hood By Timmy the Greek Burgess:

Racing really started Friday night with 18 racers. Pizza Dave ( David Parsons) set a new qualifying lap record in NASCAR. Aaron The Machine Roed won the race by one lap over Lee Gilbert.

On to Saturday, fourteen racers for LMP with Lee Gilbert showing he’s still got IT with A TQ and a one lap win over Aaron.

Group 10 was next up with ten racers. Tim getting TQ and Chris the Sandwich Alden taking the win over his brother Jim, the other half of Sandwich Alden. Great racing from Chris!

On to a early Sunday to finish out The Flats. I say it was to early for someone ( Leonard old man Strand ) who was late and also tried to run nine heats in an eight heat race my Buddy. On to the GT12 race The Machine was at it again he TQ’ed and won the race with Jeff Crash Sweeney going from eighth place to second! Nice run Jeff!!

Eurosport was next with Rapid Rick Dodge from Chelan , WA. Over for some racing. He was TQ. The Old Man Leonard went on to win with Jim Alden taken second. It was hot!!! It was sweaty and we all lived to do it again. Thanks Jim the King for working on his day off, and Dianne for the great job she did running the races.
