Mike Wilson Amateur Stock Car Winner

A fast track greeted a group of 5 amateurs this week. Mike Wilson took control of this race right from the beginning and dominated the race. A few driving tips from Lee, and lots of practice has
elevated his racing immensely. Mike won the race with 280 laps! The bar has been raised once again in this class. Piper Clark fans will be happy to hear that she finished in second place, and also set a new personal distance record. Finishing in third this week was Jim Nelson who regularly drives consistent races.
It’s fun to see each of these racers progress every week! I think it’s very possible to see a handful of these drivers start to approach 280 laps on a regular basis in the weeks to come.
