Piper Clark continues to improve as a racer each week, and I think this week she made her biggest gains yet. Consistency in her lap times within each segment is something that she continues to work on, and it really showed this week with every lap within about a tenth or so. There are a couple portions of the track that have not come easy to her, but she drove through those corners aggressively, and with confidence on her way to a personal distance record of 282 laps. Jim Nelson finished in second place this week ahead of last weeks winner Mike Wilson who fought a car that just wasn’t working all that well the entire race.
