Track Record Radford Does It Again!

9 racers this week in the expert class. The night started with Jim Radford setting a new qualifying record in the Nascar class with a time of 4.343 seconds. Btw his back up time was a 4.352.

I was able to lead most of the race, but was run down by Jim in the last segment. I finished second, and Clemans was third this week. In the process of winning the race, Jim set a new distance record of 311.79 laps on a freshly glued track. Usually the Twister needs a bit of rubber on it to see high lap totals, but that wasn’t the case this week. That one could last awhile!!

With the Flats just over 2 weeks away, now is the time to get the trigger finger in shape for the big race weekend happening July 26th-28th.
