Good News For Slot Car Racers (Kinda)…..

Govenor Inslee has announced that the stay at home order will end May 31st, and be replaced by a somewhat vague program called “Safe Start Washington”.

Also, he relaxed the guidelines a bit for advancing from stage 1 to stage 2. The county that the track does business in currently would be able to apply to move forward into stage 2 based on these new guidelines.

I am looking forward to getting back to the track and racing again on Friday nights. Everyone has their own opinions on when it is safe to do so, and nobody is right or wrong. Personally, I will be back to race with other racers, and support Jim and Diane’s small business as soon as I hear we are racing again. I also will be wearing a mask to protect others who might be a bit more vulnerable to this virus.
